Who we are

LMC Logistics provides road, air, ocean and courier logistics. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our services, and how we use it. Contact us about privacy at the contact page on this website.

What we collect

Details you give us (name, company, email, phone, addresses), shipment information (contents, addresses and tracking events), messages and live-chat conversations, account details (your password is stored only as a secure hash), and technical data needed to run the site, such as your browser type and IP address.

How we use it

To quote for, carry and track shipments, answer your messages, keep your account and our systems secure, meet legal obligations, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to move your shipment (for example carriers, customs authorities and delivery partners), with service providers who host and operate our systems under contract, or when the law requires it.

Retention

Live-chat conversations are deleted after 180 days. We keep shipment and account records for as long as needed for operational, legal and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize them.

Security

The site uses encrypted connections, sign-in sessions are protected cookies, and staff access is separate, role-based and logged.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, download or delete your personal information, and to object to how we use it. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have these rights under those laws, and we will not treat you differently for using them. Make a request at the contact page on this website; we may need to verify your identity first.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
